What are the responsibilities and job description for the Echovascular Tech position at - EMRMC?
JOB SUMMARY:
Under moderate supervision by the System Director Diagnostic Services, the Echovascular Tech promotes and maintains quality echo testing practices for the Cardiovascular Services. Exhibits the F.I.R.S.T. values (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OR EQUIVALENTS:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of cardiac/vascular sonography and; Registered (registry eligible) with the ARDMS or; Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiologic technology and; Registered with the ARDMS in cardiac/vascular sonographer with a minimum of three (3) years experience.
Experience: One to two (1-2) years experience in cardiac sonography preferred. Experience in vascular sonography or other non-invasive testing is a plus.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certified. ARDMS, or eligible to take a complete registry within one (1) year of hire date.
