Job Description
We are seeking a Through Hole Parts Prep, Stuffing, and Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling electronic components, ensuring quality and compliance with IPC standards, and operating production machinery to support manufacturing processes. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow precise work instructions, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do:
- Read and interpret labor plans, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, and job notes.
- Verify parts match job requirements and ensure proper organization to prevent mix-ups.
- Inspect and confirm board revisions, component placement, polarity, and lead length per IPC specifications and customer standards.
- Remove, label, and store parts appropriately, ensuring all leftover components are properly bagged and labeled.
- Maintain and update job instructions within the ERP system (CETEC) to ensure accuracy.
- Operate KISS, Flow, and Universal machinery independently while preventing damage to surface-mount components.
- Conduct visual inspections of assembled boards for quality and compliance.
- Secure completed boards on racks and carefully transport them to avoid component dislodgment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including weekly ESD mat cleaning.
- Report equipment malfunctions or failures to the appropriate personnel.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
What You Will Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- PREFERRED - Knowledge of electronic components, polarity, and values.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
What You Will Experience:
- Work is performed in a clean, ESD-controlled production environment. While performing your duties, you will:
- Stand for long periods while performing tasks.
- Wear personal protective equipment (provided) such as gloves, safety glasses, and masks as needed.
- Perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements.
- Handle small electronic components with precision.
- Reach overhead and across workstations.
- Lift and carry objects up to 10 pounds regularly
