As a Material Processing Expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of metal and other raw materials processed by saws at EMT International. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, job specifications, and work orders to determine cutting requirements.
About the Role:
- Read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, and work orders to determine cutting requirements.
- Operate industrial saws to cut raw materials to exact specifications.
- Adjust saw settings, blade speeds, and material feeds to ensure precision.
- Identify and correct material defects, miscuts, and deviations before passing materials to the next production phase.
- Maintain and troubleshoot saw equipment to ensure peak performance.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job orders.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures.
- Basic computer, mathematical, and mechanical skills.
- welding experience a plus.
