- Provide technical training to customers on proper equipment usage and maintenance.
- Remote Customer Support:
- Assist customers via phone, computer access to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Document and communicate solutions to recurring problems to improve product reliability.
- In-House Responsibilities:
- Support machine assembly and testing before shipment as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address design or manufacturing issues.
- Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and service history.
- Complete service reports and ensure proper documentation for billing and warranties.
- Mark redlines and provide documentation after project completion.
Service Technician Qualifications
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80% domestically) often on short notice; international travel available.
- Proven experience in equipment installation, maintenance, or a related technical field.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
