What are the responsibilities and job description for the Linux System Administrator L2 - TS/SCI Poly required position at EMTAK LLC?
We are seeking a Linux System Administrator with the following requirements
- Knowledge with Linux
- Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
- Aid users in accessing and using IT systems
- Configure Cisco / Palo Alto Switches Firewalls
- Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices
- STE/STN Compliance
- TS/SCI FSP w/ MPO PRIVAC Eligible
- 10 years experience as SA Bachelors Degree in technical discipline (5 years experience can be substituted for degree)
- CWIP Cert: IAT Level 2
NICE TO HAVE:
- Redhat Certified Engineer (RedHat Enterprise Linux installation (RHEL): expert level installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting)
- Knowledgeable with virtual machines
- Setting up IPSEC Tunnels/VPN Tunneling
- Knows Ansible (Playbooks)
- Knowledgeable with Scripting (Bash/Other)
- Automation
- Cabling, Documentation, Rack & Stack
- IAVA Patching
- Familiar with Containerization (Dockers / Kubernetes)
