About the Role
We are seeking an Advanced Contributor to join our IT team as an Information Technology Support Technician. This is a full-time non-exempt position in the non-profit sector.
This role involves providing technical support across departments, maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems, network hardware, and software. The successful candidate will ensure operational efficiency through proactive problem-solving, system analysis, and collaboration with the IT team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain personal computing, network hardware, and software systems.
- Evaluate and resolve technical issues both onsite and remotely.
- Maintain parts inventory and produce support documentation.
- Troubleshoot network performance and assist system administrators.
- Complete projects with minimal supervision.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 2-5 years of experience in IT support/help desk roles.
- Strong technical knowledge of computing equipment, software, and networking.
