Do you have a passion for wellness and delivering outstanding customer service? Our luxury spa and fitness center, located within a high-end hotel in Santa Monica, is looking for a professional and welcoming Front Desk Associate to join our team!
Position Details:
- Job Type: Part-Time (20-25 hours per week)
- Shifts: Morning or afternoon shifts available; must be available on weekends.
- Pay: $20/hour
- Location: Santa Monica, CA
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in guests with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Handle payments for spa services, hair salon, gym memberships, group classes, and retail using MindBody software.
- Answer phone calls and emails while assisting guests with scheduling group classes, spa services, and hair salon appointments.
- Ensure all fitness and spa service waivers are completed before guest participation.
- Promote spa services, memberships, and retail products to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain a tidy and professional front desk area, ensuring an inviting atmosphere.
- Keep retail areas stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
- Steam new clothing arrivals to ensure they look their best before being displayed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous customer service experience required; experience in a spa, hotel, or wellness setting preferred.
- Familiarity with MindBody software or other booking/POS systems is a plus.
- Must present a professional and well-groomed appearance at all times.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a positive and team-oriented attitude.
