Join Our Team as an Independent Supported Living Professional!

Full-Time: M, T, F 9-5 ,W 12—9 pm, every Thursday off

Every other Saturday and Sunday

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide supports to people by assisting in the development and implementation of all support plans, including spiritual life supports, assisting people in achieving their personal goals and desires, providing interaction and choices for activities that support a meaningful day, and supporting people to be independent in activities of

daily living.

• Assist with information gathering for Personal Outcome Measures, and other assessments
• Assist people with maintaining a clean and safe home by following safety and infection control procedures while educating people on best practices.
• Respect and maintain confidentiality at all times, including when working across Enable, Inc. environments.
• Request assistance and direction when faced with unfamiliar or unusual circumstances
• Adhere to Enable, Inc.’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values while empowering each person to direct their own life choices.
• Report and/or documents routine and unusual events including utilization of THERAP by completing daily T-logs, GERs, and EVV requirements.
• Complete documentation as outlined in program plans and directed by PC.
• Assist people with fiscal management while safeguarding their funds. This may include completing ledgers, reconciling accounts, budgeting, and education on choices made.
• Support people with self-advocacy. Ensure rights are not restricted without due process, and people are being treated with dignity and respect.
• Serve as a role model and leader to newer staff. Interacts respectfully with all people to include co-workers, supervisors and community members.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent. Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record as defined by Enable, Inc.’s policy
• Clear background checks as defined by regulations and policies
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds. Ability to do daily standing, bending, and lifting
• Must possess good verbal, reading, and written communication in English;

and have basic math skills; and basic computer skills

• Must have knowledge and skills to perform ordinary household functions, cooking and cleaning
• Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with others, flexibility concerning hours of work and changing conditions, be of good moral character, have an interest in the welfare of the people supported, and have a willingness/ability to communicate with and relate to people supported, parents, guardians, fellow-staff, representatives of community agencies, and company management

• Must be able to work around cats
