PM Group Leader

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced and visionary person to lead and execute strategic initiatives that drive organizational growth, operational excellence, and innovation in our firm. This person will play a critical role in shaping the future of the organization by overseeing transformation efforts across all aspects of the business, with a particular focus on optimizing internal and external project delivery, enhancing client satisfaction, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

 

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep experience in managing transformation initiatives in project-driven, technical environments, preferably within the data center or similar sectors. This role requires exceptional leadership, change management expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively across the organization to achieve sustainable success.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Strategic Leadership

·       Develop and execute a comprehensive transformation strategy to align with the company’s long-term vision and growth objectives.

·       Partner with the executive team to identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and scalability.

·       Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance the firm’s competitive edge in the data center market.

 

Operational Excellence

·       Oversee the implementation of tools, systems, and processes to improve project delivery, resource utilization, and operational consistency.

·       Standardize and optimize workflows, methodologies, and reporting to ensure quality and efficiency in project execution.

·       Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) related to project delivery, team performance, and client outcomes.

 

Change Management

·       Drive organization-wide change initiatives, ensuring stakeholder alignment and buy-in.

·       Develop and implement change management frameworks that promote adoption and integration of new systems and practices.

·       Act as a culture leader, foster an environment of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

 

Project Portfolio Management

·       Ensure the consistent and successful delivery of projects across the company’s portfolio, maintaining a high standard of client satisfaction.

·       Collaborate with project and program managers to address risks, allocate resources effectively, and achieve financial and operational targets.

·       Lead efforts to streamline project management practices and enhance the firm’s ability to scale.

 

Leadership and Team Development

·       Build and lead a high-performing team, including mentoring project managers and staff to prepare them for expanded responsibilities.

·       Identify skill gaps and implement training and development programs to enhance team capabilities.

·       Collaborate with HR to recruit, onboard, and retain top talent aligned with the firm’s transformation goals.

 

Client and Stakeholder Engagement

·       Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring alignment between client needs and company capabilities.

·       Represent the company in industry forums and client discussions, enhancing its reputation as a leader in data center projects.

·       Communicate progress and outcomes of transformation initiatives to the CEO, board, company executives, and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications

 

Education and Experience

·       Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, project management, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).

·       Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in transformation management, operational leadership, or consulting roles, with a focus on project-driven businesses.

·       Proven track record of leading large-scale change initiatives in technical or engineering environments, preferably in the data center or construction sectors.

 

Skills and Competencies

·       Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking skills.

·       Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMP, Six Sigma) and operational frameworks.

·       Strong business acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

·       Proficiency in project management tools, business intelligence platforms, and digital transformation solutions.
