Data Annotator
Data annotation is an essential component in training artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) algorithms. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals who will collaborate with our team, label large amounts of data, and provide feedback to our data scientists and engineers to create high-quality labeled data sets. Joining our team means playing an integral role for the future of government and commercial AI/ML capabilities.
Responsibilities
This project entails listen to audio files of spoken French while simultaneously reading a written transcription on a computer screen. You will evaluate the accuracy of the text transcription compared to the audio file.
Position Details
- This project is fully remote
- In this opportunity you will be an independent contractor. You will be self-employed (1099) and will be responsible for withholding your own taxes.
- 6 hours estimated per week
- This work will be done on your personal computer, using your own reliable internet connection. This work may not be done on a public computer or wifi network.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Fluent French- spoken and reading
- Fluent in English
- Personal computer in a private environment
- Reliable and private internet connection
- Availability to commit 6 hours per week plus periodic check-in meetings
- Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate reliably (checking your email daily)
- Ability to work independently including managing your schedule, attending all required meetings and completing projects within a deadline
- Ability to keep information confidential
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Must physically be located in the United States

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
