Technical Project Manager
The Geospatial Technical Program Manager (PM) is the lead executive ultimately responsible for the successful delivery of a large multi-year U.S. Government data labeling program encompassing multiple individual labeling campaigns, multiple types of data and data analysis requirements and managing a staff of over 150 data annotators, quality control analysts, campaign managers, and other program support staff. As the overall leader of the program, the PM ensures a culture of labeling accuracy, efficiency, contract and security compliance, and customer success. The PM will be responsible for efficient, accurate, and on-time delivery of multiple concurrent labeling campaigns including ensuring adequate staffing, resource allocation, and scheduling The PM is the primary voice of the company to the customer and the voice of the customer to the company ensuring full and transparent communication of program goals, status, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead major program with the U.S. Government relating to artificial intelligence applications to geospatial data annotation
- Main point of contact with the client to onboard new projects, set expectations, and communicate capabilities
- Manage the Deputy Project Manager and multiple Campaign Managers, Data Annotators, and Quality Control Analysts
- Manage project resourcing including assigning Associate PMs to run campaigns and allocating appropriate amount of hours/team members per campaign
- Create and submit program deliverables include program work plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), status reports, regular client meeting reports/presentations, and other required contract deliverables
- Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, and resource allocation
- Work with Data Annotation Manager and HR to forecast recruitment needs and make team changes to ensure program success
- Collaborate with the Chief Operations Officer to track project progress, budget, deliverables, and deadlines
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Active Top Secret- SCI clearance
- At least 8 years of technical government program/project management experience
- Multiple years of experience with intelligence, defense, and geospatial analysis programs
- At least 3 years of experience in a client facing position
- Ability to take initiative, ownership and problem solve in a dynamic environment
- Strong relationship building and customer service skills
- Strong writing, presentation, communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work with a team of people with unique communication, learning and working styles in a supportive environment focused on setting individuals up for success
- Bachelors Degree
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Geospatial Imagery Analysis experience
- Educational background or training in program management, geospatial data and/or data science
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Clearance
- Applicants selected will be subject to a background check. Top Secret clearance required
Work Location
- Enabled Intelligence offices in Falls Church, VA with frequent meetings at client sites in the National Capital Region and St. Louis, MO.
Salary : $175,000 - $210,000
