What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Director position at Enaex USA?
The Operations Director position will coordinate all ENAEX North America (NA) product and finished product material flows required to support ENAEX NA’s ongoing business. The main position’s tasks will include: Maintaining ongoing finished and raw material flows to meet customer demand. This will include as the main items, raw material sourcing, inventory management, supplier interface & management, contract negotiations, coordinating operations from inbound trucking to outbound deliveries, coordinating with plant manager(s) on expected production and availability. All of the above are expected to be completed within ENAEX NA’s established quality and safety standards and procedures.
Essential Functions:
1. Assure excellent customer satisfaction by assuring the timely sourcing, delivery, availability, inventory of raw materials & finished products.
2. Manage, control and monitor all sourcing of raw materials, components and finished products are properly and regularly sourced. Ensure that these product volumes are compatible. Maintain key relationships with Suppliers.
3. Establish and review daily production requirements.
4. Schedule and coordinate shipments from the various transload facilities.
5. Work with clients on product offerings and possible substitutions.
6. Ensure that above sourcing is well & frequently coordinated with Tooele plant manufacturing
7. Report as per ENAEX NA mandated reporting requirements on a timely basis, as required. This includes DOT, IFTA, ATF and others.
8. Aid and assist in the daily production, when required.
9. Work on developing a training matrix for field blasting services. Providing assistance when necessary.
10. Participate and lead in monthly inventory reporting & reconciliations.
11. Lead and adhere to all ENAEX NA mandated safety procedures and programs: coordinating with the ENAEX HSEQ manager as required.

· While carrying out the above expected duties, the employee will be exposed to an industrial environment dealing with weather, and being occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving parts, noise and vibrations.

· The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, and stand for several hours. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Hours of work will be Monday – Friday, 7am to 4pm. Target 40 hours per week with overtime on a regular basis.
Travel:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of the area travel with overnight stay(s) may be expected.
Required Education and Experience:
5-10 years experience in the Operational Function of Specialty chemicals is required with preference to Commercial Explosives Operations experience. Bachelor’s degree necessary or advanced degree is preferred.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Candidate must be able to obtain ATF clearance and passing of DOT drug test.
