Posting End Date: July 24, 2023 Employee Type: Regular-Full time Union/Non: This is a non-union position Have you been responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, data integrity, and security for the SCADA applications used by Gas Controllers, Power Operators and System Operators? This role will focus on the above in addition to providing subject matter authority supporting IT projects and operations projects. We encourage you to apply today to be considered for this outstanding opportunity! What you will do: Support: Ensure the availability, data integrity, and cybersecurity of the SCADA applications. This outcome is accomplished by providing Tier 1, 2, and 3 support, performing troubleshooting and repair/replace activities and preventative activities. Perform break-fix and troubleshooting of SCADA applications and its related infrastructure including interfaces, network communications, and hardware. Ensure that the hardware is accurately maintained and operating below any thresholds and performs preventative maintenance checks and rollover tests. Implements lifecycle maintenance and replacement plans for the SCADA system software, hardware, and operating systems. Responsible for commissioning, maintaining, and applying changes to displays, data points, devices, and interfaces. Ensure reliable communications to field assets Cybersecurity and Compliance: Ensure control systems align with Enbridge specifications, policies, applicable industry standards, and vendor specific requirements for existing and new equipment as it pertains to cyber security. Ensure that standards and best practices in the delivery and maintenance of systems are followed. Responsible for timely execution of operating system and application security patches. Knowledge Base: Create and maintain up to date knowledge base documentation including asset information, architecture diagrams, processes, and procedures Management of Change: Adhere to management of change practices pertaining to changes to the equipment and software Conducts due diligence assessments of change requests. Project Support: Participate in Capital projects for all SCADA system related projects and provides SCADA expertise in designing, implementing project changes to the SCADA system. Support the completion of assigned capital projects through display builds and/or system configurations, and commissioning SCADA application changes following standard operating practices. Lead and/or participate, as a senior resource, in the analysis, configuration, modifying, testing, implementation, documentation and training of system functionality Who you are: You have: An Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Automation/Instrumentation Technology, or related subject area 10 years of directly related work experience within a pipeline environment A valid driver’s license which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire 5 years’ experience working with Microsoft Enterprise environments and the security architecture You can: Bring 10 years of experience with SCADA applications such as Weatherford CygNet or Honeywell Experion Show strong digital literacy and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite using Word, Excel, Visio and Outlook Offer 5 years of working knowledge of SCADA IT infrastructure including network, workstations, and services in addition to being proficient with VMware tools and virtual environments Display a proven ability within work management and management of change processes in addition to Backup, Disaster and Recovery operations You are: Experienced (5 years) and knowledgeable of polling engines such as Autosol Communications Manager or Weatherford Cygnet along with RTU, PLC and End devices communication protocols An excellent written and verbal communicator/technical writer with strong analytical skills Able to show excellent time management, multi-tasking abilities, problem solving skills with root cause analysis within a fast-paced environment Skilled with project experience delivering SCADA, HMI, and other ICS solutions along with having strong troubleshooting skills The following are considered assets: Strong network administration skills Familiarity with OPC, MODBUS, DNP3, and BSAP telemetry protocols Proficiency in database administration Working knowledge of ServiceNow Working Conditions: Work performed in typical office environment with infrequent travel Must be able to participate in after hours on-call rotation Periodic overtime requirements Enbridge provides competitive workplace programs that differentiate us and offer flexibility to our team members.
