About the Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a Traveling Landfill Construction Laborer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various tools and equipment, loading and unloading heavy materials, and following directions from supervisors and fusion technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and care for construction equipment, tools, and machines.
• Help equipment operators, fusion technicians, and other skilled labor when necessary.
• Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
• Move tools, generators, etc. around the location and into trenches.
• Loading or unloading construction materials.
• Digging trenches and around buried piping.
• Removing, filling, or compacting earth.
• Following instructions from supervisors.
• Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
• Perform site clean-up.
• Cleaning, inventorying, and putting away tools and equipment.
• Performing PM on equipment.
• Engaging in safety talks and working in a safe manner at all times.

Requirements:

• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• A background check.
• At least 18 years of age.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• The ability to communicate effectively.
• The ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
• The ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to travel 100% and be on the road for extended periods.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Experience in construction environments is a plus.

Schedule and Availability

We require our Traveling Landfill Construction Laborer to work a 12-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekend availability as needed.
