Pump Technician Role
This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working outdoors, with their hands, and in a rugged environment.
Responsibilities:
- Follow field maintenance procedures and design standards to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Collect and log pump count data, uploading it to our systems as required.
- Troubleshoot pneumatic well pump operation to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Perform vacuum surveys to ensure optimal system performance.
- Clean and repair pneumatic well pumps to maintain equipment integrity.
- Install new pneumatic well pumps to meet operational demands.
- Sound wells to verify proper operation.
- Assist the team with general field operations, providing support as needed.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to:
- Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
- Understand and troubleshoot field processes to minimize downtime.
- Read and understand GCCS components and field maps to make informed decisions.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Know and understand construction safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Read, understand, and perform according to our company mission and values.
Additional Requirements:
- Maintain accurate end-of-day detail reporting to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan.
- Update and maintain data systems, including Outlook, to ensure seamless communication and information sharing.
- Identify and communicate field safety hazards and process issues to ensure prompt resolution.
- Participate in continual education, fellow employee training, and innovation initiatives to drive improvement and growth.
Schedule and Compensation:
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm.
- On-call availability may be required during upset conditions.
- Annual salary range: $20-$24 per year.
