About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Specialist to join our team, responsible for developing, deploying, and managing strategic and complex procurement for Information Services IT commodities and services. This role is crucial in supporting company operations by ensuring the procurement of quality, fit-for-purpose commodities and services at the lowest total cost of ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee IT support by translating category goals and objectives into strategies aligned with both short- and long-term objectives of the stakeholder group and the broader enterprise.
- Apply broad and deep subject matter expertise in technology and information services market dynamics and industry trends to support the development of appropriate sourcing strategies.
- Execute complex sourcing processes, utilizing market analysis, benchmarking, and contracting strategies for IT commodities and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risks, options, and desired outcomes to meet IT needs and ensure technical compliance.
- Track and measure performance levels for complex sourcing and supplier effectiveness, focusing on fit-for-purpose, added value, lowest total life cycle cost, and cost savings.
- Maintain relationships with key IT, business, and manufacturing partners, as well as key supplier contacts.
- Develop and implement supplier continuous improvement initiatives.
- University degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field with 7 years of progressively responsible and related experience, or a combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative, take initiative, lead, and manage change.
- Proven interpersonal, communication, contracting, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Experience in managing multi-discipline stakeholder engagement for effective teamwork.
