Overview :
Encantado Technical Solutions is currently seeking DevOPs Engineers to support the IT program at a major national laboratory. The overall program includes a 500 work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations. The DevOPs Engineer will provide on-site and off-site application development, implementation, and related support services for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems with a workforce of approximately 14,000 personnel.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain internal company services, such as Confluence, and Gitlab
- Deploy and maintain code documentation services
- Build, deploy, and maintain virtual machine infrastructure and services for several software projects
- Maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI / CD) infrastructure
- Improve the infrastructure and tools for development to meet the needs of multiple disciplinary software groups within the organization
- Provide relevant feedback in the planning of software development and testing across the organization
- Support general software static analysis and testing
- Provide support for Standalone network applications.
- Work collaboratively with software developers to deploy and operate our systems.
- Help automate and streamline operations and processes.
- Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in dev, test and production environments.
Qualifications : DevOps Engineer I :
Bachelor's degree and 5 years experience.In lieu of a degree, an additional 6 years of relevant experience is needed, totaling 11 years.U.S. citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain U.S. Department of Energy security clearanceUsing multiple operating systems and development environments, specifically Linux and WindowsExperience with cluster orchestration tools, especially KubernetesUsing software version-control tools, such as GitLab and MavenExperience with containerized applications using DockerDeveloping web-based applications and writing scripts (such as CSS, JavaScript and Python)Using shell-based commands and writing bash scriptsStrong background in Linux / Unix Administration, experience with automation / configuration management using either Puppet, Chef, Ansible or an equivalent.Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services.DevOps Engineer II :
