What We Expect :

Restaurant Operations Oversight

Ensure high-quality food and service, adhering to established standards; safeguard restaurant sales with a sense of urgency, friendliness, and professionalism.
Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere with attentive and courteous service.
Be knowledgeable about the market and local surroundings.
Regularly assess service quality through audits and guest / employee feedback.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards for the facility.
Oversee repairs and maintenance.
Utilize basic computer applications and POS systems effectively.
Drive standards in daily operations.
Inspire, inspect, and inform restaurant staff daily.

General Executive Management

Develop a strong management team that fosters growth and efficient system management.

Assign meaningful tasks to managers and conduct evaluations to track progress.

Conduct quarterly evaluations for both management and hourly staff.

Recruit exceptional talent and manage personnel changes as necessary.

Initiate continuous improvement plans for service levels.

Lead efforts in PR, marketing, and sales initiatives for Encanto.

Address poor performance decisively while recognizing good performance.

Nurture strong relationships with vendors and accommodate various owner needs.

Instill a culture of excellence and inspire confidence through strong leadership.

Implement efficient systems across departments.

Ensure compliance with California labor laws, health standards, and OSHA regulations.

Financial and P&L Adherence

Foster a culture of financial accountability, focusing on sales tracking, labor management, and cost control.

Process payroll accurately and timely.

Establish and enforce proper use of waste sheets and labor projections.

Oversee cash handling and adhere to reconciliation procedures.

Collaborate on strategies to meet or exceed financial projections, maximizing efficiency.

Review and document all expenditures promptly and systematically.

Seek opportunities for improved efficiency and productivity.

Hold department managers accountable for financial objectives.

Standards & Safety Compliance

Have a comprehensive understanding of California labor and hiring laws. Maintain and adhere to in-house safety programs, conducting monthly health inspections. Follow cleanliness standards and guidelines for food safety, while committing to sourcing locally and promoting diversity in the kitchen.

Physical Requirements

Ability to frequently exert 50 pounds of force to lift, move, or carry objects.

Capability to work in varied temperature environments.

This role involves a mix of sitting, walking, and standing.
