Preschool Aide/Floater Teacher

Duties may include:

• Supervision the health and safety of students in the classroom
• Actively engage in activities that promote growth and development in the following areas: Fine/Gross motor development, Social/Emotional skills, sensory development, cognitive skills (STEM/language), curiosity in science/culture
• Collaborate with teachers and administration
• Observe and report developmental abilities of students to admin and parents/families
• Daily cleaning and organization of classrooms and play areas

Required Qualifications:

• Experience working with children from 0 to 5
• 12 ECE units including Growth and Development; Curriculum; Health and Safety; Home, School, and Community
• Up to date immunizations including Tdap, MMR, Flu, and current TB test/clearance
• LiveScan/Background Clearance
• Mandated Reporter
• CPR/First Aid certification (or planning to acquire)

Preferred Skills:

• Montessori experience or certification a plus!
• Energetic and active with children
• Flexible, team player

• Strong communication with students, fellow teachers, and parents
• Effective problem solver; positive conflict resolutions
