Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of property management, ensuring that our community is well-maintained and residents are satisfied. This role requires a proactive approach to managing relationships with residents, staff, and external vendors while adhering to compliance regulations.
Duties
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, including LIHTC regulations.
- Oversee administrative tasks related to property management, including leasing activities, tenant relations, and maintenance requests.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents through effective customer relationship management.
- Coordinate with facilities management to ensure the community is well-maintained and all facilities are operational.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure quality services at competitive rates.
- Handle conflict management effectively by addressing resident concerns promptly and professionally.
- Utilize OneSite or similar property management software for tracking leases, payments, and maintenance requests.
- Prepare reports on community performance metrics and present findings to upper management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or a related field.
- Strong administrative skills with a focus on real estate administration.
- Knowledge of laws governing property management and tenant rights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Experience in conflict management and resolution strategies.
- Familiarity with facilities management practices is preferred.
- Proficiency in using office software and property management systems such as OneSite is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
