What you’ll do…
As a Software & DevOps Intern at Enchanted Rock, you will work on building and optimizing software systems that support the collection, processing, and visualization of real-time data from our generators. You will collaborate with software developers, data engineers, and DevOps professionals to improve system reliability, enhance automation, and contribute to cloud-based infrastructure. This internship offers hands-on experience with modern software development practices while providing exposure to DevOps workflows. This position is hybrid, with a combination of in-office collaboration and remote work flexibility.
You’ll make an impact by :
- Assisting in the development and optimization of software applications and data pipelines used for real-time data processing.
- Supporting infrastructure automation and monitoring to improve system reliability and deployment efficiency.
- Collaborating with developers to improve CI / CD workflows, ensuring seamless software delivery.
- Learning and working with cloud services to enhance system scalability and security.
- Documenting key findings, troubleshooting steps, and best practices for future improvements.
Requirements :
You’ll sweep us off our feet if you :
o Programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
o Version control systems (Git, GitHub, or GitLab).
o Cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
o CI / CD pipelines and deployment automation.
o Monitoring tools and system logging (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, ELK Stack).
o No prior experience is required in these areas—just an interest in learning!

o Make it Matter – Contribute to improving software performance and deployment efficiency.

What you’ll need :
o Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer.
o Requires stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions.
o Must be able to lift and carry files weighing up to 20 pounds, read printed materials and a computer screen, and communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
