The Embedded Engineering Intern reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager. The intern will be assigned projects/tasks for embedded systems on the Engineering project portfolio.

What You’ll Do…
The Embedded Engineering Intern reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager. The intern will be assigned projects/tasks for embedded systems on the Engineering project portfolio.
You’ll Make An Impact By
- Assist in developing, testing, and troubleshooting embedded software for energy system control.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and controls engineers to integrate hardware and software components.
- Analyze schematics, wiring diagrams, and code to support system design and diagnostics.
- Participate in field testing, data gathering, and performance analysis of generator units.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding component specifications and contribute to design improvements.
- Emphasize adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Attention to safety and its critical importance in the work environment.
- Other tasks as identified by senior team members.
You’ll sweep us off our feet if you:
- Communicates well with colleagues and customers, effectively and professionally.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and contribute.
- Strong drive to problem-solve on a daily-basis and proactive brainstorming.
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills and how to apply to decision-making
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET recognized program.
