Job Summary
Encino Energy is seeking to hire a Corporate Engineering Analyst to support all functions of the Corporate Engineering team. The Corporate Engineering Analyst will be responsible for the integrity of the data feeding economic models and the reliability of the database used to produce all corporate reports and evaluations. This position will assist the engineering team in generating economic evaluations and high-quality reports for internal and external consumption.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the engineering team in building databases, reserves dashboards, well performance metrics, forecasting assessments tools, project economic evaluations, and business performance analysis
- Pull, download, query, and help analyze internal and/or publicly available data sets
- Automate processes and streamline workflows
- Create, maintain, update, and organize technical databases, well production, and files systems
- Build, maintain, and document economic evaluations
- Support reserve engineers with the tracking, managing, and reporting the company reserves on quarterly basis and year-end
- Assist with technical evaluations and support all Corporate Engineering projects related to budgeting, planning, audits, and lookbacks
- Assist the engineering team with the review and analysis of financial data including capital, operating costs, taxes, and production data in support of Encino’s economic evaluations
- Support communication and data exchange between the company and all third-party technical personnel, including financial institutions, auditors, and investors
- Work interactively with functional teams to ensure consistency and completeness of data inputs to economic models
- Manage large volumes of data and use efficient tools to implement smart displays / dashboards, and generate reserve and economic tracking reports
- Prepare supporting documentation related to the company reserves, processes and workflows of all projects executed within the team
- Use different software applications to reliably manage data, ensure high levels of accuracy and improve efficiencies of internal processes
- Help document and track all assumptions and workflows for corporate reporting to enhance levels of transparency
- Research SEC filings, interpret reporting, and pull relevant information and data from public companies
- Assist with maps and geo mapping tools
- Assist with presentation preparation to the executive team

Qualifications

- Proficient with Aries Landmark product (Super-User)
- Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Proficient with SQL / MS Access and database management
- Ability to handle multiple priorities concurrently

- Basic knowledge of coding in any programming language (preferably Python and/or R)
- Basic knowledge on the following additional software: Enverus, IHS, Spotfire, Arcview, Geo mapping (Geographix, PETRA, etc), Alteryx
Education
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Math, Science, Physics, Computer Science) required.
Minimum of 3 years of oil and gas Production Engineering, Reservoir Engineering or other engineering disciplines.

Relocation
This position is eligible for domestic relocation.
Travel Requirements
The percentage of travel anticipated for this position is 10 – 20%, including overnight extended stays.
Work Environment
This job is predominately located in a professional office environment with occasional travel to the field operations.
Work Schedule
Encino has a compressed work week with a “4/9/4” Work Schedule. Employees have the option to work four nine-hour days with the addition of four hours each Friday. Some flexibility in hours is allowed. The selected candidate is expected to work in the office three days a week (Monday – Wednesday) with the option to work remote two days a week.
