What does the job entail?
·As noted in the job title, the primary function of the position is to facilitate communication with clients. While other members of the staff will have interaction with clients directly, the Client Communication Specialist will be primarily responsible for the preparation and dissemination of planned communication. The incumbent will also have the responsibility for establishing Zoom meetings with the client when necessary and communicate that information to the client.
The incumbent is required to have a full understanding of the various systems used and the workflows involved. New systems / processes are occasionally introduced and require changes / relearning. The incumbent should keep detailed notes on the processes used and document the steps.
The incumbent will be responsible for updating the firm’s website on a regular and periodic basis. This will include weekly updates from various content providers as well as other, less regular, educational pieces and annual information. In order to accomplish these tasks, the incumbent will be required to attend marketing meetings with content providers, largely virtually.
The incumbent will be responsible for sending out a weekly newsletter to clients as well as monthly “Circle Chats”. Other communication pieces include holiday, birthday, wedding anniversary and client anniversary cards. There will be some “age-related” mailings sent to clients. The incumbent will be responsible for reminder notices such as tax and Social Security reminders. All communication events will be added to a customer contact database by the incumbent.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
