About the Role
Junior Interior Designer
The Junior Interior Designer works in partnership with Internal Design Team members and external partners to create functional and inspiring spaces for others to live, work, and play. This position supports the Design Team and contributes to all aspects of the interior design process.
Position Logistics
- Primary Work Location: West Fargo, ND or St. Louis Park, MN
- Work Environment: Hybrid
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8 am - 4:30pm
- Work Type: Full Time (40 hours/week)
Position Responsibilities:
As a Junior Interior Designer, you’ll play a key role in bringing thoughtfully designed spaces to life—places where people live, work, and gather. Working closely with our in-house Design Team and a network of talented external partners, you’ll contribute to every phase of the interior design process. From concept development and space planning to design documentation and project coordination, this is a hands-on opportunity to grow your skills while making a real impact.
Concept Development & Space Planning
- Supports overall design concept development and space planning
- Collaborates on furniture layout and selection
- Curates and assembles design boards with physical samples of finish selections
- Assists in researching and specifying finishes and fixtures
Design Documentation & Presentations
- Assembles digital design presentations
- Produces design and construction documents
- Collaborates with third-party professionals to produce interior renderings
Project Coordination & Administration
- Coordinates with project architects and consultants
- Assists with Construction Administration tasks, including shop drawing and submittal reviews
- Attends construction meetings and responds to RFIs
Model Unit & Studio Management
- Prepares and stages model units
- Curates and maintains the design studio and sample library
Vendor & Consultant Collaboration
- Develops and maintains positive partnerships with outside design vendors, consultants, and artists
- Assists with the selection, coordination, and procurement of FF&E
General Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned
- All employees are responsible for the general upkeep of work and shared spaced
- Punctual and regular attendance is required of all employee

Qualifications
- 1 years of experience in an Interior Design
- Experience in multi-family housing preferred but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design or a related field preferred
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- An organized, self-starter who is motivated to accomplish project goal
