Day Program Staff

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our team. As a Day Program Staff, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for these individuals, particularly those with developmental disabilities and autism.

Responsibilities

• Transport individuals into the community and do activities with them that they like to do as well as activities to help them reach their goals.
• Administering medication if necessary during the day program hours.

Skills

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid practices and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to provide compassionate care.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse groups of people.
• Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to fostering a positive experience for all participants.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week
