Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Director and/or the pharmacist on duty, the Certified Pharmacy Technician will provide essential support to ensure the safe, efficient, and optimal pharmaceutical care for patients, customers, and residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and distributing medications.
- Accurately process and label prescriptions while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Manage inventory, restock supplies, and maintain proper medication storage conditions.
- Handle prescription refills and medication reconciliation.
- Provide customer service and assist with medication-related inquiries.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA and state/federal pharmacy regulations.
- Operate within Meditech EMR for documentation and record-keeping.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to support patient care.
Requirements:
✅ Certification: Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
✅ State License: Must be currently active
✅ Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant pharmacy technician experience
✅ Shift: Day shift (10-hour shifts), holiday coverage required
✅ EMR Used: Meditech

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
