Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled FPGA Engineer to join our team in developing cutting-edge RF systems for applications such as radar, signal assessment, and electronic attack. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FPGA-based hardware development, digital signal processing (DSP), and embedded system design. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with FPGA programming, verification, and integration. Key Responsibilities :
Define system architecture (hardware, firmware, software) to meet complex requirements within budget and schedule constraints.
Lead FPGA development efforts for embedded systems utilizing Xilinx technologies.
Develop DSP algorithms optimized for FPGA implementation.
Collaborate with DSP experts to optimize implementations for FPGA platforms.
Configure, characterize, and debug FPGA-based hardware, firmware, and software.
Utilize digital embedded system debug tools (ICE, logic analyzers, JTAG, and oscilloscopes) in a lab environment.
Create and maintain accurate and detailed design documentation. Required Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Security Clearance : Active Secret Clearance or higher. Experience :
10 years of FPGA-based hardware development experience.
5 years of FPGA DSP development experience.
5 years of development experience with embedded systems from Xilinx.
5 years of experience with DSP, microcontrollers, and processor-based designs.
10 years of FPGA programming experience.
4 years of experience with Vivado software. Preferred Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Experience in any of the following areas :
Digital Signal Processing development in FPGAs.
Architecting and allocating embedded systems between firmware and software.
Xilinx embedded systems development (PL, PS, SDK, ARM, MicroBlaze).
Xilinx RFSoC / MPSoC development.
VHDL / Verilog FPGA development.
FPGA hardware and firmware debugging.
MATLAB / C / C programming. Work Arrangement :
Hybrid role with approximately 40% onsite presence.
Candidates should be local to MA / NH / RI or willing to relocate.
Some work requires an onsite presence for hands-on hardware development and debugging. Security Clearance Requirement :
Candidates must hold an active Secret Clearance or higher due to the nature of the work. Interview Process :
