We are looking for a skilled NDT Quality Test Specialist to join our team in San Antonio, TX. This role involves performing specialized non-destructive testing (NDT), developing procedures, analyzing results, and supporting corrective actions to ensure quality compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Eddy Current NDT on aircraft components, including bolt holes, corrosion/thickness assessments, surface/sub-surface inspections, and conductivity testing.
- Analyze test data and assist in recommending corrective actions.
- Document and communicate test results through quality records and reports.
- Set up and operate test and measurement equipment according to controlled standards.
- Assist in developing procedures and technique sheets for NDT processes.
- Provide certification preparation training and feedback on adverse trends.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as an NDT Quality Test Specialist.
- Recent NDI certification in Eddy Current.
- Aviation industry experience.
- Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher.
- Current NDT Level II certification in Eddy Current.
- Experience with ET MAUS and ET Low Frequency.
- Knowledge of regulatory agencies (DCMA, FAA, Military).
