Position Purpose
The Onboarding Coordinator plays a critical role in delivering a seamless and efficient onboarding experience for new hires. This position oversees the preboarding process across multiple hospital locations-both new and existing-guiding employees from offer acceptance through their first day. The Onboarding Coordinator works closely with hospital Human Resources teams, Employee Relations, and Talent Acquisition to ensure all preboarding steps are completed accurately and on time.
For new hospital openings, the Onboarding Coordinator manages the preboarding process for all incoming employees until the facility is operational. For existing hospitals, they provide ongoing preboarding support monthly. Committed to delivering high-quality customer service, the Onboarding Coordinator communicates essential information to company and hospital stakeholders while also supporting the learning and performance system by responding to inquiries through the company's internal ticketing system

Responsibilities & Task
- Oversee the completion of preboarding tasks of candidates across multiple hospitals (new and existing), ensuring the following:
- All pre-employment requirements (background checks, credentialing, and paperwork) are completed before the start date.
- Serve as the main point of contact for new hires, providing guidance and answering questions throughout the process.
- Accurate records of onboarding activities are maintained to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Provide reports and metrics on onboarding progress to key stakeholders.
- Responds to basic learning and performance system troubleshooting inquiries via the company's internal ticketing system.
- Provide excellent customer service, which includes but is not limited to the following
- Responding to internal customer Tier 1 correspondence, related to TalentWorks, within 48 hours or 2 business days.
- Identifying hospitals that need additional system assistance based on frequency of incoming inquiries and feedback from internal stakeholders, then providing the additional assistance or partnering with teammates to provide assistance.
- Execute ad hoc projects and audits as needed.
- Organizes, plans, and manages time effectively
- This position sits in our Birmingham AL home office. This is not a remote position.
Qualifications
License or Certification:
- Microsoft Office Suite certification preferred
- Cornerstone on Demand certification in learning and/or performance modules preferred
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with Cornerstone On Demand Learning and Performance modules preferred
- Experience in learning management system administration preferred
