Encompass is set to open in August 2025, welcoming 105 students in grades K–3 to embark on this innovative journey.
About the job:
We are seeking a passionate Physical Education Teacher to join our founding team. In this role, you will teach and plan for physical education class for grades K-3. In the founding years of this position, this individual will need to embody an “all hands on deck” mindset and will support other key areas of the school throughout the school day.

Our teachers:
- Internalize and execute engaging lessons, units and instructional guides aligned with MMGI principles and school-wide learning goals.
- Scaffold learning by breaking down complex skills into manageable components for students.
- Actively participate in cycles of continuous improvement through coaching and collaboration.
- Participate in data meetings, support team meetings and the child find process
- Implement IEPs, 504s and ILPs within the general education setting
- Implement RTI framework for academics and behavior
- Implement strategies aligned with Restorative Practices and Positive Behavior Intervetions and Supports (PBIS)
Required:
- State teaching certification or eligibility for certification.
- Commitment to mastery-based education and the principles of MMGI.
- A mindset committed to continuous improvement and dedicated to serving the best interests of children and the community.

- The starting salary for this position is $55,000 and the exact compensation will align with years of experience
- The start date for this position is July 15, 2025
- This is an in-person position; typical hours for this position are:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 7:15am-3:45pm
- Wednesday: 7:15am-4:30pm
