Job Summary:
Encompass Youth Substance Use Disorder program (YSUD) is currently hiring for a full time SUD Clinician to work with youth and families. In this position, you will have the opportunity to provide cutting-edge services to youth struggling with substance use disorders utilizing evidence-based treatment models. This clinical position provides a combination of remote telehealth services and in-person services at our clinics and in the community. Services are provided for adolescents and young adults ages 12-20 years and their families, including comprehensive SUD assessment, development of client-centered treatment planning, early intervention services, individual, group, and family therapy, and case management.
This position is full-time, exempt, Monday through Friday. There is flexibility for clinicians to manage their own work week schedules and options for working remotely with provided electronic mobile devices. We promote connectivity and support as a team through regular team meetings.
Essential to this position is excellent documentation and time management skills, ability to meet direct service productivity expectations, and ability to work collaboratively with other service providers. Enrollment in graduate school BBS-track practicum or registration with California BBS required
- Drug Medi-Cal documentation: SUD assessment, progress notes, treatment planning.
- Provide remote, office and field based mental services to youth and families
- Maintain appropriate and timely documentation through the Avatar EHR system
- Attend weekly individual and group clinical supervision
- Work closely with Children’s Behavioral Health and other community partners
- Represent the agency in a professional and collaborative manner that fosters positive working relationships with other agencies and agency representatives.
- Enrollment in Master’s level BBS track practicum (LMFT or LPCC track only) OR Master’s Degree with BBS associate registration (AMFT or APCC only)
- Clinical experience with diverse populations including established competency and experience in specialized areas of adolescent and family counseling.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proof of citizenship or right to work in the United States
- Criminal Record Clearance before hire.
- Valid Driver’s License and vehicle insurance
- Bilingual preferred not required
