Director of Human Resources
The Director of Human Resources should be responsible for providing effective policies, procedures, and Team Member-friendly guidelines and support. Additionally, they should champion Encompass’s policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring the Company’s mission, culture, vision, values, and principles are guided toward success and are optimized. They should ensure the Company is in compliance with all labor and employment laws for the federal, state, and local governments.
The Vice President of Human Resources should work closely with Servant Leadership and Team Members to act as a liaison and problem solver. They will also serve as a backup to the payroll and benefits administration for the Company.
The Vice President of Human Resources will generally perform excellent Human Resources work in an office setting.
Director of Human Resources Will
· Have complete knowledge and understanding of Encompass’ policies and procedures
· Know and understand the policies and information contained in the Team Member Handbook
· Create new policies and procedures as necessary for the Team Member Handbook.
· Train all Team Members on new policies and on sexual harassment policies on an annual basis
· Know and comply with Department of Labor Regulations
· Keep alongside of and comply with laws and regulations of the EEOC
· Have a good working relationship with Encompass’ employment attorney; ask questions and seek guidance (when needed)
· Ensure all Team Member personnel files are up to date and secure
· Have a good working relationship with Encompass’s insurance broker and acts as a liaison between the broker, the President and Chief Executive Officer for purposes of determining carriers and insurance programs
· Follow the procedures contained in the New Team Member Selection Policy for recruiting needs
· Actively recruit and interview possible candidates for open positions
· Work with Direct Leaders and Servant Leaders to obtain qualified candidates for open positions
· Comply with EEOC law in hiring process and track all resumes and candidates for applicant tracking file
· Aid Servant Leadership and Direct Leaders in proper selection of candidates
· Schedule interviews for Servant Leadership and Direct Leaders
· Prepare and send out Offer Letters for selected candidates
· Conduct New Team Member training for new selections
· Direct and oversee Encompass’s Drug Test Policy and ensuring required Team Members are being randomly selected, and are completing their drug testing in a timely manner
· Create and revise position descriptions for all Team Members and ensure they are in agreement with all EEOC regulations and Department of Labor laws
· Manage and assist with Team Member Performance Reviews (VIP Rallies)
· Creates and implements Team Member Improvement Plan with Direct Leader to counsel, mentor, and help Team Members meet their goals
· Ensure all Servant Leaders are trained and updated on employment laws, proper documentation, and responsibilities for being an Encompass Servant Leader
· Holds membership on the Servant Leadership Team (a team compromised of Servant Leaders designed to make strategic, financial, and employment decisions on behalf of Encompass)

Qualifications
- Proven expertise in human capital management and strategic planning
- Strong knowledge of employment and labor law, including FMLA
- Experience in talent acquisition and employee relations
- Proficient in HRIS systems such as ADP Workforce Now
- Excellent negotiation and performance management skills
- Background in benefits administration and payroll processes
- Ability to implement change management and process improvement initiatives
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
