In addition to our core services, we supply our clients with high-quality furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team.
Position Overview: The Procurement Specialist will play a crucial role in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing FF&E items to support our diverse projects. This position requires a solid understanding of the hospitality and construction industries, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Strong professional verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products.
- Sourcing and Procurement: Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and trends in the FF&E industry. Develop and execute sourcing strategies tailored to project requirements.
- Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure optimal deals while ensuring high-quality products and timely delivery.
- Order Management: Oversee the procurement process from order placement to delivery, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.
- Budget Management: Collaborate with project managers to develop and manage procurement budgets, ensuring alignment with project financial goals.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to manage stock effectively, avoiding shortages or excess inventory.
- Quality Control: Ensure all procured items meet quality standards and specifications, addressing any issues as they arise.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communications. Generate reports as needed for management.
- Database Maintenance: Assist with processing purchase orders and subcontract agreements, while maintaining a database of third-party vendors.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as a member of a team, especially during peak times and tight deadlines. Be flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient to ensure success in this role.
- Learning and Growth: Learn from experienced Procurement Team Members and take advantage of opportunities for professional growth within the company.
- Travel Opportunity: Procurement TeamMembers must be prepared to travel regularly or periodically to job sites in the US to help with organization and communication of shipments and received products. Will communicate with the Construction Managers and Project Managers on deliverables.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a proven ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
