Encompass Family Services Spokane is hiring for a Family Time Supervisor position. We are a small agency who works with children, youth and families in the greater Spokane area to provide all levels of Family Time. The Family Time Supervisor is responsible for supervising visits and providing a safe, secure environment, physically and emotionally, for children in alternate care by supervising visits with their natural parent(s) or other identified individual either at the center or another agreed-upon site.
Major Responsibilities and Related Tasks:
· Provide visits as outlined by the referral source which may include hands-on assistance and education (several times per week) to the family in an effort to meet goals.
· Inform parents if they are to provide supplies, snacks, or meals.
· Schedule and provide transportation as outlined in the case plan.
· Be available for flexible scheduling Monday through Friday.
· Participate in case conferences and court appearances upon request and as outlined in the case plan.
· Participate in ongoing assessment and evaluation of the family's goals.
· Supervise and provide a safe Family Time environment for children and terminate the visit if it is not deemed appropriate or parties involved have improper conduct.
· Clearly define the rules of Family Time with all parties involved and notify referring agency if rules are violated.

· Report client inquiries and complaints
· Maintain a safe and secure working environment
· Co-ordinate schedules, appointments and bookings for all of your individual clients
Client Information System:
· Complete all necessary visit documentation for each visit in a timely manner.
· Provide necessary client information to referring department and the family (contact logs, reports, case updates).
· Establish and maintain appropriate professional files which provide all necessary documentation regarding the family.
· Maintain weekly updates with Supervisor regarding all cases.
Skills/Qualifications:**
· Be at least 21 years of age
· Have a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 year observational and behavioral job training, Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or Psychology.
· Have basic knowledge of human resources management practices and procedures
· Have computer skills and knowledge of office software packages
· Possess efficient and effective communication skills
· Have professional, sound and fair judgment and problem solving
· Ability to make effective decisions quickly and independently if needed.
· Have effective and professional planning and organizing skills
· Implement and identify effective and appropriate work and time management skills
· Pay attention to detail and high level of accuracy
· Ability to perform information gathering and Supervision of visits with accuracy, non-bias and professionalism.
· Posses appropriate coaching skills, reporting Skills and Personal Integrity
· Adaptability to changing and new situations.
· Effective teamwork and collaboration
· Must be available to work day and evening shifts as needed from 7am to 7pm
