We’re one of the area’s top Managed Technology Services Firms and we’re looking for our next Field Technician to join the team. We are seeking a motivated person with awesome people skills, strong communication abilities and well-developed technical skill.
You’ll work with a tight knit & supportive tech team maintaining our client’s technology systems such as desktops, laptops and mobile devices via phone, email or on-site. This position requires the candidate to identify user problems promptly, develop solutions and always maintain our high level of customer satisfaction. You will be in one of the primary positions for our team, so you must be a self-starter as well as a great problem solver.
This candidate will be taking on a computer / help desk position within our company and must have the following credentials/qualifications:
- At least 1-2 years’ experience with computer / network diagnosis, and repair
- Associates Degree, preferably in an IT-related field, OR; 1-2 years of recent experience working at an IT Helpdesk in a similar environment
- Self-Motivated
- Independent work ethic
- Strong Customer Service Skills.

- Reliable transportation
- ConnectWise or Autotask Ticketing System is a HUGE bonus!
- Experience utilizing RMM & documentation tools. Datto & IT Glue is a plus
- Ability to travel to client site using private vehicle or company vehicle
- Ability to work as scheduled sitting, standing, stooping, lift and carry 50 lbs.
- ConnectWise exam completion at hire or within 90 days of start
Experienced Candidates must possess a strong knowledge base on the following:
- Microsoft Windows 10 and 11
- Network printer configuration
- Familiar with Server 2016/2019/2022
- MS Office 365 Applications & Support
- NAS Storage Solutions
- Firewall VPN management
- TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting skills
- Remote support tools and applications i.e. TeamViewer etc.
- Light duty cabling for mounting wireless access points
- Wireless Configuration and Management
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
Other qualities appreciated in candidates:
- Independently resolves issues with current skills or possesses the ability to research and apply solutions found externally
- A , Network , Security certification is a plus
- Currently or recently worked for a Managed Service Provider (MSP)
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues, ensuring efficient resolution of customer inquiries both remotely and on-site. 60% onsite/40% in office.
- Manage computer systems and networks, including VPN and firewall configurations.
- Assist users with Microsoft Office applications and desktop support tasks.
- Document and track support requests using ConnectWise, maintaining clear communication with clients.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance IT service delivery and improve customer satisfaction.
- Be ready with your order when we do company sponsored lunches on Friday. The Team gets restless when lunch is late ;)
