The Job at a Glance
The Eastern United States based Territory Sales manager is responsible for driving sales of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) products by developing and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying new sales opportunities, managing the sales cycle, and achieving sales goals through consultative selling and technical expertise in the HVAC industry. This role requires deep attention and understanding of HVAC market trends and competitor analysis to effectively present solutions to meet customer needs and maximize market penetration within assigned geographic territory.
A Typical Day
- Identify and qualify potential new customers within geographic territory.
- Aligning with company objectives and capabilities, develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and market share goals.
- Conduct sales presentations to contractors and co-distributor decision-makers, highlighting the benefits of Encompass product and services offering.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through regular communication and proactive account management.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions based on their specific business requirements.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
To Land This Opportunity
- You have 3 to 5 years, minimum work experience as an Outside Sales Representative or similar role.
- College Degree BA/BS or higher preferred.
- You consider yourself a critical thinker
- You are highly independent and require minimum supervision
- You have great communication skills & you’re proficient in English (verbal and written)
- You enjoy traveling
- You are resilient with a solid and proven track record in achieving sales targets
