Summary
The Technical Consultant provides technical solutions to customer needs. These can be assisting the customer to get data in and / or out of any of the Encompass platforms (e.g. reporting and integrations) or to get custom application functionality requirements documented to be passed off to others for development. Because of this wide range of activities, the technical consultant must be motivated, customer facing and technically well rounded. They will serve several general functions within the technical consulting team to deliver solutions for our customers : integration developer, business analyst, BI developer, technical solutions developer, and project leader.
Key Responsibilities
Project Lead
- Initiate projects by conducting a discovery meeting with a customer interested in engaging a project service. This identifies the practicality and scope of the project.
- Monitor and control the execution of the project. Audit solutions created by the development teams, provide frequent delivery of increments to the customer to obtain feedback, and ensure development of expected solutions
- Deliver finished products to the customer. Receive customer acknowledgement of delivery of project at or above customer expectations, and hand off project to customer.
- Monitor utilized effort against the estimate to ensure the work stays within budget; raising risks and issues to the customer or internally as appropriate.
- The project lead is responsible for setting and managing customer expectations of scope, schedule and risk.
- They will always use clear and transparent communication with the customer.
Business Analyst
Generate language and estimates for a Statement of Work (SOW) by outlining the work to be completed, and the estimated time / resources needed to complete the project.
BI Developer
Must have a good working knowledge of database concepts (table relationships, basic data extraction SQL queries, etc)
Integration and Technical Solutions Developer
The consultant will need to deliver Celigo based integrations between the Encompass platforms (ECP, OBeer / SAP, vin trace) and other customer systems.
Other duties
Contribute to Services Showcase and other trainings / presentations
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Encompass and / or the beverage production / distribution industry

Additional Details
Technical Consultant base : $78,000 - $100,000 annually
A variety of factors are considered when determining someone's compensation, including a candidate's professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above based on these considerations.
Location : We are a hybrid organization and are open to remote work. Our corporate office is located in Fort Collins, CO.
