We are committed to driving innovation and sustainability in water conservation and environmental management. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
As a CAD Designer, you will be working closely with engineers to create, modify, and finalize precise design drawings and documentation for our evaporator systems. The candidate should be proficient in Autodesk Inventor and have extensive experience in detailing electro-mechanical designs to ensure they are optimized for manufacturability and meet high-quality standards. This full-time, on-site position is based in Hooksett, NH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare detailed manufacturing drawings and documentation for new and existing evaporator designs.
- Collaborate with engineers to translate concepts into precise, manufacturable electro-mechanical designs.
- Focus on detailing for manufacturing, ensuring all parts and assemblies are production-ready and optimized for efficient fabrication.
- Perform tolerance analysis to ensure parts fit and function correctly within assemblies.
- Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support production and inventory management.
- Review and improve existing designs for increased manufacturability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Strong in Autodesk Inventor.
- Exceptional detailing skills, with a focus on manufacturability and a thorough understanding of mechanical design standards.
- Familiarity with mechanical tolerances, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, clear, and concise drawings.
