Job Summary:
The Assistant Office Manager/Commercial Lending Specialist will assist senior leaders and office staff in ensuring the overall branch is performing at an exceptional level. Simultaneously this position will assist as needed with coordinating the preparation of required loan documentation, coordinating the execution of loan documents, organizing workflow to allow for on-time loan closings. At various times following up with clients, insurance agents, title companies, and attorneys will also be required.

- Assist in implementing strategies and operational logistics for the bank’s success
- Lead and direct banking operations through various managerial duties
- Build strong relationships with office staff and customers
- Assist in developing strong relationships with other financial institutions
- Promote products and services to customers
- Assist in direct all operational aspects including distribution, customer service, administration and sales in accordance with the Encore Bank's objectives
- Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales and partnership opportunities
- Develop staff to support customers and overall branch operations.
- Meet goals and metrics
- Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and Encore Bank
- Handles ongoing loan requests, including new loans, renewals, modifications, and extensions
- Works directly with Loan Operations so that loans are processed accurately and efficiently
- Works with customers to obtain required loan documentation
- Reviews and clears loan exceptions weekly
- Gathers documents needed for annual loan reviews
- Assist in servicing active loans, monitor past due reports and maturing loan reports.
- Assists with the processing of loan payments, payoffs, and advances
- Maintains a working knowledge of bank loan policy and federal and state banking regulations, as needed
- Branch Operations including Cost Center Expense Management
- Cross Selling Sales Experience (Deposit and retail banking products)
- Customer Service and the ability to service our retail partners effectively and efficiently
- Develop internal partnerships
- Working knowledge of Banking policies and procedures including Vault Management
- A general understanding of Treasury Management and full suite of banking products offered by the bank
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least three years of retail banking experience
- Retail management experience preferred
- At least one year of loan processing experience.
- Experience in Commercial Lending preferred.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Results driven and customer focused
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Computer and Office Equipment Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
