Title: Electro-mechanical Assembler
Main Objective:
Performs production assembly work of electro-mechanical systems of moderate to high complexity with close attention to detail following manufacturing assembly procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manufacture electro-mechanical system to specified work orders using part drawings, assembly prints, bill of materials, and work instructions.
- Perform tasks such as but not limited to installing circuit boards, power supplies, face plates, product labels, cables and wire harness.
- Requires use of mechanical assembly hand tools i.e. power tools, wrenches, drivers as well as electrical assembly hand tools i.e. crimpers, cutters, soldering tools and heat guns
- Perform and document work completed via a product traveler. Insures correct specifications and functional criteria are per the manufacturing instructions and good documentation practice has been accomplished prior to completion of work.
- Trouble shoot electro-mechanical systems and identify required repairs.
- Assist in development of methods and procedures to improve manufacturing processes
- Perform time studies for operations as required
- Work with direction from the production supervisor and follow written and verbal instructions.
Additional Skills:
- Ability to read system schematics, wiring diagrams and plumbing diagrams
- Light machining (lathes, milling machines, drill press)
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
Requirements:
- High school degree (minimum), Technical Certification or other post high school training (2 Year Duration) preferred.
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Good communication skills to convey information to associates and supervisor
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work standing as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
