What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fire Alarm Apprentice position at Encore Fire Protection?

This partnership not only allows us to expand our footprint and find top talent in the VT area, it also allows us to work with industry leaders who strive for same level of excellence as we do.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Working under the direct supervision of a qualified fire alarm technician
- Laying out, assembling, testing and inspecting, maintaining, and servicing Fire Alarm Systems
- Being a positive and professional representative of Encore while dealing with customers, directly and indirectly
Requirements
What You'll Need to Do it:
- Minimum 1-year experience in electrical field
- Must be able to take direction from supervisors and then work independently with minimal supervision, follow directions and meet deadlines
- Must be able to work at heights and lift at least 50lbs.
- Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation with willingness to travel within the state of Vermont.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen/background check as condition of employment

Candidates should have interest in construction industry and may possess experience reading blueprints and using hand tools.
