What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fire Sprinkler Technician position at Encore Fire Protection?

The KOB Partnership gives us a large footprint in the State of Pennsylvania, from which we can more broadly deliver legendary service to our customers. and Our success throughout the Northeast has created a need for a Fire Sprinkler Inspector to work in the Delaware Valley (Philly) region.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Perform inspection work on wet, dry, and pre-action sprinkler systems, identifying code issues and non-conformance issues.
- Laying out, assembling, installing, maintaining, and servicing fire sprinkler systems in commercial buildings throughout New England
- Being a positive and professional representative of Encore while dealing with customers, directly and indirectly
- Must have the ability to work alone.
Requirements:
- Journeymen's license preferred (those with experience should apply too!)
- Must be able to work at heights and lift at least 50lbs.
- Must have valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Delaware Valley region.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen/background check as condition of employment
Candidates should have an interest in the construction industry and may possess experience reading blueprints and using hand tools.
