The systems we work on literally protect life and property; there is no greater responsibility, and so we need a team that is second to none. As the Talent Acquisition Specialist on our Talent, Culture, and People (TCP) team, you will play an integral role in building this team for the future.

 

The majority of our TCP team does sit out of Pawtucket RI, but as we are growing and looking for strong talent, we are open to this person sitting out of another one of our core locations in Needham, MA with hybrid flexibility. There will be an expectation to come to RI on a needeed basis to meet with the team.

 

What You’ll Do:

Our hiring team may be small, but we’re making big strides. So far this year, we've reviewed over 2,500 applications, conducted more than 700 interviews, and welcomed over 200 new members to our team. With our sights set on surpassing 600 hires by year-end, we’re not slowing down. The person stepping into this role must be ready to play a crucial part in our continued success and help us achieve even greater goals in 2025.

 

Out of the gates, your responsibilities would include:

  • Take ownership of our Candidate Review process to ensure all applications are reviewed and responded to in a timely manner.
  • Maintain our ATS software(s), including communication with vendors and troubleshooting issues to resolution.
  • Meet and connect with various stakeholders, including our Executive Leadership Team and Hiring Managers, to facilitate candidate review and interview scheduling.
  • Generate new and exciting job descriptions that capture our company’s culture and needs.
  • Observe as many first and second-round interviews as possible to gain insights and improve the process.
  • Work closely with TCP and HR teams to execute new hire onboarding efforts.

 

Over time, your role would expand to include:

  • Develop strong partnerships with our hiring managers to understand their business objectives and support their efforts in sourcing the best candidates.
  • Proactively source and initiate conversations with potential job applicants.
  • Lead all first-round interviews; participate in 2nd and 3rd-round interactions and contribute to hire/non-hire decisions.
  • Craft and persuasively deliver offer letters to candidates.
  • Once you’ve demonstrated your abilities, the sky's the limit for our Talent, People, and Culture team. You’ll have unlimited opportunities to take the initiative and lead new projects.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a fast-paced or growing company.
  • Strong sourcing, interviewing, and relationship-building skills. Proficient in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You’re comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine passion for finding and hiring the best talent out there.
