Your Role
As a Controller, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of Encore Luxury Coaches. This position is designed for a professional with foundational experience in finance and accounting, ready to take on responsibilities that impact our financial accuracy and strategic planning. You will work closely with the Associate and Senior Controllers, focusing on financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Financial Document Preparation: Assist in the preparation of accurate financial statements and reports to reflect the company’s financial status.
- Regulatory Compliance: Help ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including GAAP, to maintain the company's legal and ethical standards.
- Budget Assistance: Support the budgeting process by collecting and analyzing financial information from various departments.
- Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis to identify trends and advise on potential impacts on company performance.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary data and addressing inquiries from auditors.
- Account Reconciliation: Conduct regular ledger and account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Financial Software Proficiency: Utilize financial management software (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks) to enhance financial processes and data integrity.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments to streamline financial practices and support overall company financial goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or active pursuit of a CPA certification is highly preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting roles, including 3 years in a senior accounting or management role.
- Strong foundation in GAAP, with excellent abilities in financial reporting and compliance. Proficient in NetSuite or comparable ERP systems.
- Cost Accounting Experience in manufacturing or similar industries.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive personality that thrives in a dynamic environment
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
