Responsibilities
- Apply basic job skills and company procedures to complete routine maintenance and repair tasks on diesel engines, transmissions, and other coach components.
- Follow established procedures and detailed instructions for routine work, seeking guidance from supervisors for new or complex assignments.
- Identify simple problems or opportunities and use a logical approach to address them, requesting help from supervisors when necessary.
- Actively listen, ask questions for clarity, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors using clear, simple language.
- Participate in team activities and support team members with basic tasks, building internal relationships and demonstrating a willingness to learn.
- Share basic technical knowledge with peers under supervision and show persistence in completing tasks, overcoming minor obstacles with guidance.
- 0-1 years of experience; this is an entry-level position.
- Basic understanding of diesel engine maintenance and repair is a plus.
- Some experience or training in diesel mechanics.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply basic job skills effectively
