We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organized Events Assistant to join our team and help execute exceptional events.

Role Overview:

As an Events Assistant, you will provide administrative and logistical support for planning, organizing, and executing events. You will work closely with the events team, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless coordination and successful event delivery. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about event planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of corporate, social, and/or industry events from start to finish
  • Handle event logistics, including venue booking, vendor management, catering, transportation, and guest lists
  • Coordinate event materials, such as invitations, programs, signage, and giveaways
  • Support event setup and breakdown, ensuring all aspects run smoothly
  • Maintain and update event calendars, schedules, and timelines
  • Respond to client inquiries, providing timely updates and addressing concerns as needed
  • Assist with event marketing efforts, including social media posts, email campaigns, and promotions
  • Help monitor budgets, track expenses, and maintain accurate records of event costs
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during event planning and execution

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
  • 1-2 years of experience in event planning or coordination (internships or volunteer work may be considered)
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite) is a plus
