What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Quality Analyst position at Encore Talent Solutions?
Encore Talent Solutions is seeking a Data Quality Analyst for an end client requirement.
Our client is looking for someone with SQL database knowledge, CRM experience (preferably with
Blackbaud), and familiarity with Microsoft analytical tools like SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI.
Essential Functions:
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for data management and data quality within the CRM system
- Assist in the development of a Strategic Roadmap for the CRM System
- Understand business strategy, and provide recommendations for data and data quality management
- Take ownership of assigned items to drive resolution
- Communicate impacts of data and data quality efforts to project deliverables and CRM system functionality to the CRM System Manager
- Work with CRM business owners to ensure data policies are established and followed
- Build and maintain daily, weekly and monthly data integrity checks
- Identify areas of concern and work with departments to resolve or mitigate data and data quality issues
- Participate in project planning sessions with team members to analyze requirements and make recommendations related to data management and data quality
- Assist in project validation and testing
- Up to 10% travel required
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experienced (3 years) business analysis, software development, business intelligence or database management with a focus on data management and data quality.
- Experience with CRM data quality preferred. Blackbaud CRM is current platform
- SQL database concepts
- Experience with database analysis tools (SSIS, SSRS, Power BI)
- Experience addressing data cleansing & correction
- ETL Development skills are nice to have
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work through complex technical situations with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Action oriented individual who has strong decision making skills, self-motivated owner of multiple tasks and accountable to deliverables
- Must be able to achieve goals with minimal supervision or direction
- A thorough understanding of the Internet, Web Navigation, Windows Operating System, Microsoft Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, CRM systems and other applications as required
- Solve problems quickly and effectively while performing root cause analysis causing data issues
