Job Responsibilities:
The IT Asset Hardware Specialist is responsible for all IT inventory pertaining to asset receipt, delivery, tagging, registration, warranty, repairs, asset disposal, and asset tracking across the organization. This position maintains documentation as it pertains to standards, asset management, and asset disposal.
- Minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking.
- Tracks quality throughout the product lifecycle.
- Manage and Maintain Technology assets, receive ordered equipment and asset tag, enter equipment information into Asset Management System,
- Works with vendors for all warranty and repairs as needed, maintains an accurate inventory of storage room, creates schedule and documentation of Inventory, recycle planning and executing.
- Assists Client Technology with prepping inventory for deployment, as needed.
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of policies, procedures, and associated plans for TriHealth hardware and asset management based on industry-standards and best practices.
- Participate in defining, facilitating, and implementing hardware lifecycles
- Define, facilitate, and implement a process with all vendors for warranty and hardware repair.
- Utilize the ITSM tool to track hardware to ensure we have a full and complete tracking of those assets.
Minimum Experience:
- 1-3 Years’ experience in PC maintenance and repairs
- Excellent customer service skills
- An understanding of ITAM with a desire to learn more
- Team player who leads by example
- Follow directions, verbal and written
- Meticulous organization and documentation skills
- High standards of reliability and personal responsibility
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with teammates, supervisors, and customers
- Experience with process development and improvement
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Knowledge of IT asset management best practices
- Experience working with ServiceNow a plus
