Encore Talent Solutions has partnered with a local client in search of a Senior Business Data Architect on a direct hire basis.
The Senior Business Data Architect role is a critical position within the organization, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the data architecture to support business objectives. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze business requirements, create data models, and develop data governance policies to ensure data quality and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data architecture solutions.
- Design and develop data models that align with industry best practices and organizational objectives.
- Partner with the Data Governance Lead and data stewards to create data governance policies and data quality standards.
- Work with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data architecture solutions with existing systems and infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain data architecture diagrams, documentation, and metadata to ensure transparency and understanding across the organization.
- Conduct data analysis and profiling to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data architecture and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with data stewards to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work with data analysts and data scientists to ensure that data architecture solutions meet their needs and enable them to perform their jobs effectively.
- Provide guidance and support to junior data architects and other team members as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 2-5 years of experience in data architecture, data warehousing, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data modeling techniques, and data governance best practices.
- Experience with data architecture tools and technologies such as PowerDesigner, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
This position is based in Cincinnati, OH, with a hybrid schedule, and may be open to remote work. Applicants requiring employer sponsorship of a visa will not be considered for this position.
Salary : $160,000 - $175,000
